Ingredients

2 tbpsOlive Oil
1Onion, chopped
1Carrot, chopped
1Celery, chopped
1/2 tspChili Flakes
1 1/2 tspSea Salt
3Garlic Cloves
750g (1.5lbs)Beef - Cubed
1 tspBlack Pepper
2Bay Leaves
1 tspPaprika
1 tspOregano
1/2 tspCinnamon
1Star Anise
1 canDiced Tomatoes
1 tbspCoconut Aminos

Instructions - Instant Pot

  1. Set Instant Pot to Saute. Add Olive Oil, Onion, Carrot, Celery, Chili, and Salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add Beef and the rest of the ingredients, mix thouroughly. Place lid, set to Manual High Pressure, 30 minutes. Release pressure after 10 minutes when cooking finished.
  3. Set to Saute. Shred beef, cook to thicken sauce.

Note: Add stock based on how much liquid is in the sauce before cooking. Typically 1 cup.
