Ingredients

3 cupsFlour
1 tspCoarse Salt
1 tbspBaking Powder
1/3 cupOlive Oil
1 cupWarm Water

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in mixer
  2. Add oil and water running mixer at medium speed. After 1 minute decrease speed to low until dough forms into a ball and mix until smooth
  3. Divide dough into 16 portions, coat with flour. Cover and let stand for at least 15 minutes (2 hours is best)
  4. Heat skillet or griddle to 350°F. Roll each dough piece into 6-7 inch circle and set aside, do not stack as they will stick
  5. Cook each tortilla for 1-2 minutes per side. Look for light brown spots and small bubbles
  6. Store in a ziplock bag. These can be frozen.
