Ingredients
3 cups | Flour |
1 tsp | Coarse Salt |
1 tbsp | Baking Powder |
1/3 cup | Olive Oil |
1 cup | Warm Water |
Instructions
- Combine flour, salt, and baking powder in mixer
- Add oil and water running mixer at medium speed. After 1 minute decrease speed to low until dough forms into a ball and mix until smooth
- Divide dough into 16 portions, coat with flour. Cover and let stand for at least 15 minutes (2 hours is best)
- Heat skillet or griddle to 350°F. Roll each dough piece into 6-7 inch circle and set aside, do not stack as they will stick
- Cook each tortilla for 1-2 minutes per side. Look for light brown spots and small bubbles
- Store in a ziplock bag. These can be frozen.
